PDF Toolkit (package com.absoluto.pdftoolkit) is published by Absoluto Designs. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app.
Summary
PDF Toolkit works entirely offline. We do not collect, store, share, or sell any personal data. Your PDFs never leave your device.
Files you open
When you view, merge, or compress a PDF, the file is read and processed on your device only. The app does not upload files to any server. Results are kept temporarily in the app's private cache and deleted automatically after about a day, unless you save or share them.
Saving and sharing
When you tap Save PDF, Android asks you to choose a folder, and a copy is written only there. When you tap Share, the file is handed to the app you choose (for example email or a messaging app). What that app does with the file is governed by its own privacy policy.
Data we collect
None. The app has no accounts, analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking, and it does not request internet access for any of its features.
Permissions
The app does not request storage, camera, location, contacts, or advertising-ID permissions. Files are accessed only through the Android file picker, one file at a time, when you choose them.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
